Javelina Basketball Dominates Carrizo

Javelinas Dominate the Wildcats

     Game #4 of district play found the Crystal City Javelinas facing off against the Carrizo Springs Wildcats. The date, Tuesday, January 26th. The place, Javelina territory.  Playing to an almost capacity crowd, the Hawgs and the cats did not disappoint. Game #4 proved to be exciting from the first tip of the ball to the sound of the last points being scored. In the end, Hawg pride, teamwork, and persistance proved to be victorious. The final score, 68-53.

     Congratulations go to this year's varsity team: Benito Perez(21 pts), Austin Urrabazo (2pts), Matthew Martinez (19 pts), Pablo Balboa (19 pts), Javier Medrano (8pts) Frailan Sendejo, Nick Velasquez, Joseph Alvarado, Joe F. Navarro, Isaac Ruiz, Ryan Jimenez and Kevin Garza.  Game #5 will be against Hondo on Friday, January 29th in Hondo.
