SUMMER CAMP DESCRIPTION:
Join us as we go Up, Up and Away! this summer with a hot air balloon experience.

Designing a hot air balloon is a stimulating task to many high school students. Through the design of a hot air balloon manufacturing process and the construction of a hot air balloon prototype, students learn mathematics and science concepts while engaged in the iterative design process.

Additionally, the experience fosters STEM career awareness among students and teachers as they work side-by-side. The culminating experience is a tethered hot air balloon ride! The only requirement is a spirit of adventure!

This opportunity is presented by SRSU-RGC Title V and Transformation 2013 T-STEM Center.
