Javelinas Cross Country Teams Places 1st and 2nd at the Border Bash

The Crystal City Cross Country Teams traveled to Eagle Pass to run in the Border Bash XC Invitational Meet on Saturday, September 14, 2019.  The Varsity Boys brought back home the Runner up Championship Trophy.  The team had a great outing even though we are fighting injuries the boys muscled through the race and showed great determination, pride and ran a great race.  The Lady Javelinas ran an impressive race to outrun the competition and win the 2019 Border Bash Cross Country Meet.  Leading the Lady Javelinas XC Team was Freshman Relyla Rios.  She ran an outstanding race and has continued to improve week after week.

Coach Perez and Moreno would like to thank our student managers, Rochelle Huerta and Tatiana Gamble for their help.  We would also like to thank all the parents and relatives who continue to follow and support the cross country teams.  Next week Javelinas XC will be competing in the Islander Splash in Corpus Christi TX racing at 10:00 am.
